Growing Up Without Screens Made Fishing Feel Like Magic
I’m so thankful I had a childhood before technology took over—back when “wireless” meant a fishing line cast into a quiet lake, not a Wi-Fi signal. We didn’t need apps or filters; we had tackle boxes, tangled lines, and stories that got bigger every time we told them. Fishing wasn’t just about catching something—it was about sitting still, laughing with friends, and watching the water ripple while the world stood still. No notifications, just nature. And maybe a sunburn.
